TBF started with a simple idea. What if the clothes we wear could mean something. Not just something you put on and forget about, but something you relate to in some way. Growing up here, you are constantly surrounded by stories. In films, in old poetry, in street conversations, in cricket matches, in memes, in mythology, in everyday life. We realised that all of this is culture in its own way, and we wanted to put some of that into what we make.

A lot of our designs come from these places. Sometimes it is a childhood game, sometimes it is a line of poetry, sometimes it is a meme, sometimes it is a film, sometimes it is a feeling or a thought that stayed with us. The idea is simple. If someone looks at what you are wearing and it starts a conversation, or reminds them of something, or feels familiar in a strange way, then the piece has done its job.

Right now we are mainly focused on oversized clothing. T shirts, joggers, hoodies. We like how oversized fits feel relaxed but still structured, and how they become a part of your everyday life very easily. But more than what we make, we focus on why we make it. We don’t want to release products every week or follow every trend that comes and goes. We would rather take our time and put out pieces that we actually like and would wear ourselves.

TBF is still growing, still figuring things out, still experimenting. But one thing that will probably not change is that we will always try to make things that feel personal, familiar, and honest. Clothes that feel like something, not just look like something.
